It’s your choice where you go for your therapy services, so it is important to us that you understand our three core values. The core values of Skill Builders Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Centre are:

Our physiotherapists deliver effective and efficient treatment, using advanced manual therapy techniques. We deliver the best in personalized care with one-on-one treatments in a private room setting. Your appointment time is reserved entirely for you. Unlike some other clinics, we do not share our time between multiple patients. Our physiotherapists hold the highest qualifications available, a level achieved by only a small group of physiotherapists in Canada.

Our massage therapists have years of experience treating those with injuries so you are not just getting a “spa type” service but a rehab approach to your injury recovery.

Our occupational therapists have years of experience and have specialized in the private sector so that the quality of the service is always valuable and helpful to the client. Our centre is known throughout Ontario and even in other parts of North America for its driver rehabilitation program. Our therapists hold specialized credentials including being certified driver rehabilitation specialists, licensed driving instructors, and licensed driver education classroom instructors. Our Centre is recognized by the Ministry of Transportation for medical driving evaluations. We are also one of seven centres in Ontario chosen to offer the vision waver program.

2. Client Centred Care with a focus on getting you results

We work with each client to determine their specific goals. We explain the nature of their condition as it applies to the treatment and assessment approach, the expected results and education regarding prevention of reoccurrence. Continuous reassessment by the physiotherapist ensures progress towards the goals and treatment is modified as necessary.

We strive to have our clients feel comfortable in discussing their concerns with us so that their expectations are being met. We communicate with your doctor and other treatment team members as needed with your consent, to ensure that all of your needs are being met. It is important that team members are kept abreast. You will be periodically asked to complete a form that lets your doctor know of the progress that you are making!

We believe that the environment in which an individual is trying to recover in is important. To match our high quality of service, we have designed our clinic to help our clients start feeling better as soon as they come through our front door. Our friendly receptionists will welcome you to our clinic and take care of all your administrative needs. They are happy to answer any questions you may have. Just ask!
